About that CBS Clinton v Sanders poll: the published data does not support the claims. How curious.

FYI, alert readers might notice that there are significant omissions in the data used to support the findings of a recent CBS poll. The results of said poll were reported in a diary currently on the rec list.

Clinton leads among many voter groups - men, women, liberals, moderates, non-whites and voters over age 45. But Sanders performs better with voters under 45 and independents.

CBS makes this claim, but sadly, the data results that were published do not support it.

1) There are no details about men vs women

2) There are no details about race

3) There are no details about age

We already know that younger people prefer Sanders, and older voters prefer Clinton.  If the 383 Democrats that were sampled happened to be older voters, then the fact that they prefer Clinton is not surprising.

It rather shocks me that the article presents “findings” that are not supported by the data.  What is up with that?  I find this situation unprofessional at best, and also outrageous.
